Lodgix Changes &#8211; Part Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lodgix.com\/blog\/homeaway-secure-messaging-update-background-part-one\/\">Part 1<\/a> of our series on the new HomeAway Secure Messaging Platform we reviewed what data and formatting can be sent to a guest who inquiries through HomeAway. \u00a0 In a nutshell, ONLY plain text will be allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Many Lodgix subscribers have customized HTML response templates that are used to respond to HomeAway inquiries. \u00a0 On Wednesday, August 2nd those templates will no longer be used. \u00a0 Instead a standard text template that we provide will be used. \u00a0The default text can, and should, be edited. \u00a0 Only merge tags that do not contain HTML will be available within the text template.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4655 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lodgix.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/2017-07-31_11-32-18.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"996\" height=\"724\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lodgix.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/2017-07-31_11-32-18.png 996w, https:\/\/www.lodgix.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/2017-07-31_11-32-18-300x218.png 300w, https:\/\/www.lodgix.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/2017-07-31_11-32-18-768x558.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 996px) 100vw, 996px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the Text tab to edit the contents of all emails sent using text only. \u00a0This is only required for HomeAway. \u00a0 Responses to inquiries from other sources will continue to be sent using full HTML.<\/li>\n<li>In the standard text response for available properties, the HomeAway or VRBO is used to drive the guest back to the listing.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure to SAVE your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>How Do I Edit the Text Responses for HomeAway?<\/h2>\n<p>Open the Email Templates page at <strong><em>settings &gt;
