All I can say is I was totally blown away! My husband and I stayed at the Eagles Nest and we loved everything about it. It was so peaceful and nice to get away from the craziness of life. We stayed in The Eagle's Nest at Ella's Enchanted Treehouses and it was the perfect escape from the daily routine. Staying off season (many places were returning to their spring hours) was perfect for checking out local places like The Cornucopia Café, Firefly Farms, and Deep Creek Vineyards. I can not say enough about the workmanship, and the woodwork within the treehouse. The perfect combination of beautiful reclaimed wood, and modern conveniences. This treehouse has everything you need, but without being boastful. It's all done in a simple rustic way. You're tucked back in the quiet woods and it seems you're worlds away, but yet, you are close to restaurants, grocery stores, and all the other Deep Creek attractions at the same time. We only stayed a couple nights, but really wish we had longer to explore the wooded trails that surround the property, ski or in the summer go to the lake. The Eagles nest would be perfect for two couples or a family of 5. During our stay it was quite cold out, but we were very toasty inside. One of my favorite moments was while sitting on the amish-made couch, watching the sun come up through the trees as the sun rays began to light up the living area. Even remembering it now is very relaxing. The Eagle's Nest has a beautiful porch with a cafe table tucked away in a corner and a swing that would be great to enjoy on a warmer night. We considered them only briefly because of the temperatures and snow. Of course, no stay in the woods would be complete without a campfire, which even that is not just a basic fire ring. There's natural seating all around waiting for those s'mores to be made! Ella's Enchanted Treehouses have taken sleeping in the woods to a new level, literally! Tracey S. We loved our experience at Ella’s Enchanted Treehouses! We stayed at the Eagle’s Nest with our 5 and 3 year old and we all had a great time! The treehouse itself was nestled back in the woods which not only provided us with privacy, but it allowed us the opportunity to take in the beauty of nature that surrounded us. The interior of the treehouse was beautifully decorated and accommodated our family perfectly. We can’t say enough about our stay and would HIGHLY recommend Ella’s Enchanted Treehouses to anyone who would like to stay among the trees! We are already planning a return trip this fall where we hope to check out the Gathering Tree! We can’t wait!

We just spent a few days at Deep Creek for a mother/daughter vacation. We stayed in Eagles Nest - it was so perfect and amazing. My daughter loved the loft bedroom and porch swing. I loved how clean it was. We’ve stayed in many other cabins and they were cabins - dirty and buggy. The treehouses are homes - warm, comfy, and with all the little things to make living easy! We are already trying to plan our next stay :)

My family and I (family of 4 with 2 little boys ages 6 & 4) just got back from a long weekend at the Eagles Nest and it certainly exceeded all of our expectations. I was a bit apprehensive especially since there was snow and very cold temperatures expected during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a very clean- I mean white glove CLEAN-very cozy, high quality treehouse! We had everything we needed, power, heat, hot water. They had some small appliances stocked like a portable electric stove with cookware, toaster oven, mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave. On their website they have a page of suggested items to bring and that was helpful. We skied at the wisp which was about 20 minutes away. There is no bathtub, but we didn't miss it cause that shower water was HOT! We loved roasting marshmallows in the fire pit & splashing in the creek. It seemed the eagles nest is a perfect fit for a family of 4, anymore is a stretch. Boys loved the loft bunk beds! We will without a doubt return and stay here again, maybe we will try the gathering tree next! The owners/managers really have done an amazing job, very well cared for and built in a unique & ingenious way! Can't wait to visit again!

We found this little gem accidentally while exploring options for a visit to the Deep creek area. We were only able to squeeze in 3 nights last minute, but we are so glad we did and enjoyed every minute. Clean, private, serene, and so much to do for all the outdoor and nature lovers! Our kids are already talking about our NEXT trip. Extra perk was to meet/greet the owners and Ms. Ella herself. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay and enjoy such an awesome little getaway.
