Availability and pricing
Ask which properties are open for your dates and sleep enough guests, and what the stay would cost before you quote a guest.
The Lodgix MCP Server is our vacation rental MCP server. It lets ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol work with your live Lodgix data: check availability, look up reservations, answer guests, and keep housekeeping moving, all within the permissions you set. The Lodgix MCP Server is included with every Lodgix plan at no additional cost.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to the software you already use. Instead of exporting a report and pasting it into a chat, your assistant asks our server for exactly what it needs, and our server decides what it may see and do. Learn more about the standard at modelcontextprotocol.io.
Our MCP Server works with your own Lodgix account and nothing else. Your assistant asks for:
Server URL: https://mcp.lodgix.com/mcp. Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: OAuth 2.0.
Only the account holder or a Super User team member can connect an assistant, and every request follows that person's Lodgix permissions, checked again on each call.
With the MCP Server on, your assistant can look up properties and open dates, price a stay, and read reservations, guests, owners, team members, work orders, calendar blocks, housekeeping turnovers, failed and overdue payments, and the cancellation fee a policy suggests. Inquiries and guest conversations open up once you turn on Message Access.
Ask which properties are open for your dates and sleep enough guests, and what the stay would cost before you quote a guest.
List reservations for any date range, see who arrives this week, and open a reservation or guest record without clicking through three screens.
With Message Access on, your assistant sees the inquiries waiting on a reply and reads full guest conversations from your inbox.
Review upcoming turnovers, spot checkouts with no housekeeper assigned and same day turnovers, and see who is cleaning what.
List failed payments and overdue balances, and see the services you offer on each property, so nothing slips through.
Look up owners, team members, vendors, and open work orders, plus calendar blocks and the cancellation fee your policy suggests for a reservation.
With Write Tools on, your assistant can reply to guests, log and book inquiries, draft and confirm reservations, send payment request links, add or change services on an invoice, record refunds, block and unblock dates, cancel direct and Vrbo reservations, assign housekeepers, create and update work orders, and turn an automated message on or off for one reservation.
Ask your assistant to answer a guest, and the reply goes out through the guest's channel: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or email for direct bookings. Sending needs both Message Access and Write Tools.
Log a new inquiry, change its dates, and turn it into a confirmed reservation, or draft and confirm a new booking after you approve the total and dates.
Email the guest a secure payment request link, add or change services on the invoice, and record a refund.
Block dates and remove blocks, and cancel direct and Vrbo reservations after you review the cancellation fee and refund.
Assign or reassign a housekeeper to an upcoming turnover and update its instructions, clean date, or status.
Create and update work orders, and turn an automated message on or off for a single reservation without changing your triggers.
Turn on the MCP Server in your Lodgix account settings, choose what your assistant may read and change, then add Lodgix as a custom connector in ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant that supports remote MCP servers.
For step-by-step setup, please visit our help center at support.lodgix.com and read Getting started with the Lodgix MCP Server.
Four switches decide what a connected assistant can do: Enable MCP Server, Filter Personally Identifiable Information (on by default), Enable Message Access, and Enable Write Tools (both off by default).
The MCP Server sits alongside the AI tools built into Lodgix. AI output is screened for privacy risks and prompt injection. Replies remain drafts until you enable sending, and every tool can be turned on or off individually.
ChatGPT and Claude both connect as a custom MCP server or custom connector, and so does any other assistant or automation tool that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth 2.0 sign in, such as n8n or Zapier.
No. The Lodgix MCP Server is included with every Lodgix plan at no additional cost.
No. The MCP Server only reads data until you turn on Enable Write Tools, which is off by default and asks you to confirm. Even with it on, booking, cancelling, recording a refund, sending a payment request, and removing a block or a housekeeping assignment ask you to confirm in the chat first.
No. The Lodgix MCP Server never charges or refunds a card. Your assistant can email the guest a secure payment link, and a refund it records only updates the invoice.
The PII filter is on by default and masks email addresses, phone numbers, and street addresses before anything reaches your assistant. Card numbers and Social Security numbers in guest messages are always masked, even with the filter off.
