What is a direct booking website?
A direct booking website is a listing page where guests book straight from you instead of through a channel. Lodgix hosts a page for every property, with the same availability, a rental agreement and e-signature, and payment collection built into the booking flow.
Do direct bookings replace my channels?
No, they run alongside them. Direct connections to Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com, plus many additional channels through our channel manager including Expedia, Google Vacation Rentals, and Marriott Homes & Villas. A booking on any of them, direct or channel, blocks the same calendar.
Can guests sign a rental agreement online when they book direct?
Yes. The rental agreement and its e-signature are part of the same checkout as the reservation and the payment, so there is no separate step to chase.
Can I build my own site instead of using the hosted listing page?
Yes. Use our open REST API to build a completely custom site, fully synced to your Lodgix account.
